Under the Work at Height Regulations 2005 an employer has a duty to ensure that they do all that is reasonably practicable to prevent anyone falling “from height”. The regulations define a place as “at height” if a person could be injured falling from it, even if it is at or below ground level.
Digital Home Networks will ensure that work at height is avoided where possible, that where work at height cannot be avoided work equipment or other measures to prevent falls is used & that where the risk of a fall cannot be eliminated work equipment or other measures to minimize the distance of a fall will be used. Appropriate risk assessments of all work at height will be carried out and measures taken to eliminate or control the risk of falls.
